About the Author

Aimee Byrd, wife and mother of three, lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Brief Summary

Aimee Byrd seeks to inspire and instruct women in their calling within the home, using the term “housewife theologian” to capture their common but dynamic sphere of influence. Her first goal is to give women in the home a theological orientation in terms of their identity, relationships, and purpose. Secondly, she develops the home as a site of culture making and where the gospel is made concrete. The book is designed for small group study. Each chapter ends with discussion questions.
