Part 1: The Urgency of the Hour
“Howl, America! Howl!” The land of the free is rejecting its heritage and the ideals that made it great. Although still prosperous and powerful, America is now rudderless and seems intent on bringing about its own social implosion. America was founded on ideals of freedom, justice, and responsibility, but all of these are now being overthrown. The great experiment of the Founding Fathers is forgotten or rejected, and the kind of radical, progressive leftist agenda that destroys societies is gaining ground. Contemporary American attitudes are a disgrace to our forefathers, and may in fact be part of God’s judgment upon us for our sins and our pride. Our heritage is being squandered and we are wasting our children’s inheritance. There is no doubt that unless there are major changes and repentance, America will fall. Rather than continuing in the spirit of the American Revolution, we are seeing a dangerous shift to the spirit of the 1789 Revolution in France.
Can we actually address the wrongs of our past and make amends, rather than blaming other political parties? Will we embrace the principles of true freedom, or settle for counterfeits? Will true leaders emerge to bring us back, or will we drift leaderless to destruction? The radical left represents a secession from the true values and ideals of our nation. One of the greatest gifts is freedom, and we need a trumpet call to wake us up and get us to contend for genuine freedom before it’s too late. Freedom is essential and must not be abandoned. Freedom’s enemies are both external and internal, but the latter are more dangerous. The land of the free needs to embrace the first principles of freedom all over again. America is a superpower, but now is zero hour for repentance and a return to its historical ideals. . . .
